PackSnap is a moving-box inventory app. You photograph an open box, the app lists what is inside, and each box gets a number and a QR label so you can find things later. This page explains exactly what happens to your data. It is short because the app does very little with it.
PackSnap has no sign-up and no login. Your boxes, item names, rooms and arrival marks are stored in a database inside the app on your device. They are never uploaded, backed up to us, or shared between devices. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Photos you add to a box are copied into the app's own storage on your device. You pick them through the Android photo picker, so the app only ever sees the files you select.
When you tap Analyze, that one request sends the selected photos to our processing service, which passes them to an AI vision model to produce the list of item names. The photos are used for that request and are not stored on the server afterwards. The service keeps no copy, and it does not log the contents of requests or replies. If you never tap Analyze, no photo ever leaves your device: you can type the items in by hand instead.
The camera is used for one thing: reading a PackSnap QR label so the app can open that box. The scan happens on the device. No frame is stored, and no frame is uploaded.

There are none. PackSnap contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting service. Nothing about your use of the app is reported anywhere.
The one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited boxes is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The app receives only the fact that the purchase exists. It never sees your payment details.
PackSnap is not directed at children and is rated for a general adult audience.
